What We Do

At RRE we believe that finding the right fit for your position is paramount, and to find the candidate we need to obtain as much information on the position as possible. Then we create a confidential Retailer Portfolio on every client, which provides the vital statistics needed for us to carry out our recruitment process.

Based on your information we determine a desired skill set so we can envisage the type of candidate you are looking for.

There are several avenues available to us to source candidates:

  • Using the retailer's information we initiate a search through our extensive database of experienced candidates, using the retailer's requirements as our searching criteria.
  • We create an advertisement that will attract appropriate candidates for the specific position; this ad is then placed on the top two job websites.
  • The position is also added onto our websites jobs vacant area.
  • If appropriate or necessary we draw upon our vast industry contacts to approach passive candidates using specific position sourcing techniques.
  • Each applicants CV is reviewed and candidates who meet the pertinent criteria are short listed.
  • An initial prescreening phone interview establishes the candidate's suitability for the advertised role.
  • Short listed candidates are then interviewed extensively face to face ensuring that all the retailers, relevant criteria are met.
  • The selected candidates CV's are then presented to the retailer for their consideration.
  • In accordance with the availability of the both the retailer and the candidate we schedule an interview appointment.
  • Subject to the retailers approval of the candidate we conduct thorough reference evaluations, which are then forwarded to the retailer for perusal and files.
  • In conjunction with the retailer we negotiate a suitable salary package as well as some of the terms and conditions of the employment offer.
  • The offer is then put forward to the candidate.

In some instances it may be necessary to use specific print media i.e. Financial Review or local newspaper, this would be at the request and cost of the retailer.

Throughout our recruitment process the retailers company remains confidential unless otherwise requested by the client.
